STEM Process Project
Descriptive animations are commonly used to visually portray a complicated process or machine. They allow the audience to see how the components of a system work together and educate themselves more effectively on often misinterpreted information.
In this project, you will use your Adobe Edge Animate skills to create a descriptive animation that illustrates a process or device related to STEM technology. Some example systems include a wind turbine, geothermal heat pump, photovoltaic panel, light tube, etc. You will use your skills in Adobe Edge to visually describe how this process or device works. The ultimate goal is to educate your audience on your chosen piece of STEM technology. Keep in mind that it might require a little research ahead of time. The instructor will be available for help with coming up with a good idea, and properly executing it.
As you work, save your project as a .html file and name it lastname + first initial + STEM.html. When you are finished, create a folder with the same name, publish the .html to the folder, and zip the folder that will contain the .html and .js (Java Script) files (ex: pettywSTEM.ZIP). Submit the .ZIP folder using the form below. Don't forget to review the rubric to make sure you are meeting all of the project requirements!
