Billy Bob Project
You have been hired as an audio editor for Commercials Incorporated. They want you to create a commercial for a car lot. They have provided you with the voice over (VO) and final script. In this project, you will edit a raw voice recording to match a script. Your client is Billy Bob's Auto Warehouse. You have his original recording (as you will see, Mr. Billy Bob is not so good at recording a commercial) and the written script of what the radio commercial should say exactly. As you learn how to cut and splice clips in Audition, arrange Billy Bob's recording in the correct order. When you have matched the script, add sound effects and background music to make the production appealing and persuasive. Remember to match the script exactly! Remember the background music should fit your target audience and not overpower the voice-over.
As you work, save your project as an Audition project file (.SESX) and name it last name +first initial + billybob. When you are finished, export it using Export>Multitrack Mixdown>Entire Session and choose the .MP3 encoder and name the output file the same name (ex: pettywbillybob.MP3). Submit the .MP3 file using the form below. Don't forget to review the rubric to make sure you are meeting all of the project requirements!
