Getting involved in student clubs is a great way to experience your education in fun and different ways. I am an advisor for two student clubs here at Middle Creek that are associated with Digital Media. They are meant to provide students with an opportunity to showcase the abilities and knowledge that they learned and practiced in my class. See below for a short description of each club.
The sports block
is a student-run production company that broadcasts Middle Creek sports LIVE over the internet. It's a great way to learn industry-standard skills and knowledge by creating a professional sports broadcast.

Skills usa
is an industry-based student competition team that aims to develop and refine skills and knowledge of Digital Media concepts. Students are given the opportunity to utilize their skills to develop "live" projects that will be used outside the classroom. The club also teaches and practices workplace standards and procedures to prepare students for life after school. We like to have fun at club socials and work together to do community service projects.
The Skills USA Chapter at Middle Creek competes annually at the local, state, and national level - enriching the curriculum and bringing students recognition and pride. MORE INFORMATION |
